No messing about, Phil managed to arrange a CBT with very little notice and Mr 'B' was excellent. These guys are no nonsense, professional and very safety concious. Once the theory is done I'll be back for the DAS. I have already recommended a friend who is taking his CBT next week and he will also complete his DAS with Phil and his team. Thanks guys. PS i didnt get a cuppa though, sort it out Phil. Cheers and see you soon

Well what can I say, Phil has literally got the patience of a saint, very professional attitude and a wealth of expert knowledge, having never riden a big bike before phil welcomed me with a large mug of coffee, sat me down and gave me advice not on how to pass the big bike test but how to ride a bike safely, this payed dividends and I passed the module 2 test first time . I would definitely recommend Phil's School of Motoring. Thanks again Phil. Regards

I learnt through the Direct Access Scheme and had a course of lessons with Phil (awesome instructor, masses of knowledge and handy tips, constructive critiques and confidence building commentaries). Two trips to the MMA for Module 1 coaching and a return for a faultless Big Bike Mod 1 first time pass and a Big Bike Module 2 first time pass a week later. Excellent Excellent Excellent.

After doing my CBT with another trainer, I wasn't left feeling totally comfortable in my ability as a rider. After two half-days with Phil doing my step-up to a 500cc bike, I'm feeling over the moon ! I've still got a long way to go, but I'm confident that with Phil's expert tuition and friendly no-nonsense manner, it's going to be an enjoyable and safe experience. Cheers Phil !

Even riding half way to south port and back in the snow!!! :D will reccommend u to anyone who asks. once Iv got a bike, and a little more experience of my own (ill have a running commentary of what u tell me in my head still!) then ill b back for more training! something for u to look forward to! haha! There is very little to say about learning to ride a bike with Phil apart from 10/10. His knowledge, teaching techniques, demeanour and practical skills are all second to none. I went from never having ridden a bike through to passing my DAS in a very short time due to Phil's excellent tuition. Phil gave me confidence in my own ability when I doubted myself and was always there in my ear reassuring and encouraging me whatever the roads and weather threw my way. I've now got a bike and will be going straight back to Phil in the summer to start my advanced. If you want to learn how to ride then I can't recommend Phil enough.

Hi I am 18 years old and it was a great dream of mine to ride a motorcycle, a dream that was a lot harder to reach because of my mild disability, however I just passed and now own a full licence, thanks to Phil’s hard work, patience and sense of humour, he not only gave me the tools to pass but has given me the confidence and information to make every ride a safe one, I would recommend Phil to anyone wishing to be safe on the road. Thanks Phil Andy

Well What a journey Hi I am Rob 57 yrs young. I first met Phil on 18 July 09 when I took my CBT. I was greeted by him with not only a firm handshake & smile but also with a welcoming mug of coffee. The day was excellent. Really enjoyed myself & the training was supurb on the 125cc bike first with training off & then on road. I had been riding bikes (illegally) as a youngster until technology advanced & I realised I could no longer get away with it. More recently I have ridden Trikes until my last visit to the TT when I saw people older than me on some Beautiful bikes & thought I must get back on 2 wheels but this time do it correctly. Whilst on my CBT Phil convinced me that although I thought I could ride really I was a pure novice. I passed my Theory & Hazard test on 14 August 09. It was'nt as bad as I thought it was going to be. Phil had helped with advice & even practice on his laptop. He then advised which CD to buy & I completed it. I then did my stepup onto the 500cc machines. Again fantastic & such professional training meant I enjoyed every bit of it & was then encouraged by Phil to take the Module 1 test. Whatever you may have been told or read about this test Relax with the correct training organised by & taken by Phil on the actual test sites it aint so daunting. I past this test on 19 August 09. Further training has today 8 September 09 got me succesfully through my Module 2 Practical Test. (Been out on my new bike this Evening. Stuff the wind & rain). Dont be put off by the examiners. Again whatever you may have heard these people are extremely nice pleasent people who's goal is to get you succesfully through your tests. They after all are fellow Bikers. I cannot say enough about Phil. If you want to be trained to the higest possible standard & enjoy yourself as well then look no further. All the training I did was accomodated by Phil to fit around my very irregular working pattern

Hi there... I just want to let anyone reading this and possibly thinking of PASSING their test first time whether it be the CBT or DAS then look no futher than Phil who I found to be a first rate teacher. He will not just sell you lessons, as some do, but will look at your abilities and then determine what suits your needs and I passed first time right through from CBT to DAS after not being on a bike for some 30 years. I just want to say a big thank you to Phil for all he has taught me and will continue to do so when i go back fo more advanced training. A huge thanks

Hi all, Just letting you people know who are thinking about taking lessons for cbt or bike test and have not yet decided who to use, I will save you the trouble of looking around for the cheapest and the best.....Look no further!! Phil is by far the cheapest as i rang a lot of schools before phil and noone came close they all just want you to book a full course without seeing how good you are first where phil will get you out and about then tell you what he thinks you need and he was spot on with me. So stop ringing round and ring phil, he will get you through your CBT or bike test. Cant thank you enough Phil for all you have tought me and i will be giving you a bell in a few months for that ride out mate!!

Just started with Phil, I am training towards the full motorcycle license with him, Phil is great at teaching different skills and things that could be easily overlooked, very approachable and full of knowledge. Extremely good at showing a wide range of very important skills. Very happy with the training! Also has great bikes and quality equipment which other schools do not provide. Wish I learnt the ground works of the CBT with phil. I would strongly recommend if you want quality training to go with Phil. Very efficient at giving correct instructions and can answer any questions you have. Can\'t wait to get on the bikes again!

After many a frought hour between U-turns and emergency stopping "once with my head" I finally passed my motorbike test!!! I can safely say though, not all would agree that it was the best thing that i ever did. The Itstruction I got was second to none it was clear precise, very indepth, and Phil has the patients of a saint! Having done CBT way when it was introduced I thought I knew something about bikes & riding. I was wrong! Phil coached me as I had gone from the rusty stage to become 'seized'. Phil's patience, knowledge and instructions are top notch. I have my new CBT thanks to Phil, now were working through the step up. Phil's teaching methods apply to new as well as experienced riders, you can always learn more from this rated instructor. Not only can you learn a lot about riding, you will learn a lot about yourself too. Thanks Phil

The website looks the business and it’s a pleasure to be trained by Phil and his team. Having not been on a bike for almost 10 years, I thought some training was essential for me. I didn’t want to return to I.A.M. as I felt I needed some more ‘real world’ type training, and having been out on a brief refresher ride with Phil I then wanted to carry on the training by completing the Enhanced Rider Scheme. Phil helped me complete the E.R.S. with some good advice and we had a laugh along the way. I never went over the Cat & Fiddle when I did the I.A.M. test!
